Ever find yourself short on whimsy just when you need it the most?

In the spirit of friendship, I’m declaring today

In my last post I suggested – no make that advocated – that when we find ourselves getting dragged down by the weight of the world, we could use whimsy as a lifeline back to sanity, resilience and perseverance … and in support of that advocacy, I’m dedicating this particular post as a present to Continue reading » Whimsy Day!

What do you do when you wake up on the wrong side of the bed?

I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living. It’s a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. And that enables you to laugh at life’s realities.

Cup o’ Inspiration

Take a short break and consider the following:

“A friendship can weather most things and thrive in thin soil; but it needs a little mulch of letters and phone calls and small, silly presents every so often - just to save it from drying out completely.”
