Sometimes you have to make it up as you go along…

The wise adapt themselves to circumstances, as water moulds itself to the pitcher.

— Chinese Proverb

My friend Lynne (you remember her – she’s my hummingbird expert) recently embarked on an arduous, solo road trip. Well, not exactly solo. Her roadie, Wile E. Canine – who is good company but not much help with navigating and driving – accompanied her. Their trip would take them along remote highways, across deserts, over rivers, and through woods. Outbound, the journey was uneventful – after two long days of driving they arrived at their destination, weary but ready to enjoy a relaxing visit with old friends. The return trip, however, had some Continue reading » Now What? Will You Be Wearing a “Muffler of Regret” or “Pulled Up Socks?”
